They support all major acquiring banks and they cost £20/month (if less than 1000 transactions per quarter). You can use a payment gateway such a Protx which is independent of your bank - doing so will usually save you money. Protx also offer a virtual terminal which is included with their payment gateway, or available on its own for £10/month for up to 300 transactions. You will need an Internet Merchant Account. The service costs just £150/year.
